Led with audio and video recordings from the legendary collection and comprehensive knowledge of arranger, composer and jazz historian Alan Matheson.

Handful of Keys: The Great Jazz Pianists

The evolution and progression of the important stylists of jazz piano, from the ragtime master Scott Joplin to the greats of modern jazz including Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans and Vancouver’s own Brad Turner.

The Great Voices of Jazz

The best jazz vocal artists – who are often the “gateway” to jazz for many listeners – are all covered here, from Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Bobbie McFerrin to the music that influenced the American popular masters such as Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Peggy Lee.
