From the rhythmic fire of Piazzolla and Paganini, to the melancholic textures of Fauré, to the spontaneous conversations of small-group jazz – Confluence brings the full breadth of the VSO School of Music into one evening.
Curated and performed by Performance Prep students Leo Teixeira, Hourod Rakhshanfar, Forest Benson, and friends, Confluence features repertoire spanning Baroque music, chamber music, French mélodie, jazz, and original compositions. Built on the idea that these disparate traditions enrich each other, it’s a celebration of everything music can be.
