A journey through sound, imagination, and connection. Constellations brings together musical voices from different eras, styles, and generations to create a richly varied tapestry of chamber music. From the meditative stillness of Arvo Pärt’s Fratres and the playful ingenuity of Ligeti to the warmth of Dvořák’s Terzetto and the youthful brilliance of Mendelssohn’s Octet, each work shines with its own distinct character while contributing to a larger artistic whole.
Featuring distinguished faculty artists alongside festival participants, this concert celebrates the collaborative spirit at the heart of chamber music. As individual performers come together in ever changing ensembles, unique musical voices connect, interact, and inspire one another – forming a constellation of artistry, creativity, and shared discovery.
