Abby Boggs
Artist in Residence
Coloratura soprano Abby Boggs is enjoying a vibrant 2025-2026 season, with both soloist appearances and ensemble performances. She regularly performs with the Vancouver Chamber Choir as a core ensemble member, and is looking forward to performances of Messiah with Early Music Vancouver this season, as well as tours to Kelowna, BC in December 2025 and to Victoria, BC in May 2026.
Recent soloist highlights include being the soprano soloist with Ballet Victoria’s Carmina Burana in March 2025, the roles L’Hébé, L’Amour, and Zima with Denman Island Baroque in a concert performance Rameau’s Les Indes galantes, and as the soprano soloist in Bach’s Weihnachtsoratorium. She has also appeared as soprano soloist for Schubert’s Mass in G Major, Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass and Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore with the Victoria Choral Society and Linden Singers.
She holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Victoria, a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Wheaton Conservatory, and she studied at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School in high school. Abby is also a current board member for Salt Spring Baroque. She lives in North Vancouver with her husband, son, and golden retriever.
