Julian Borkowski

Julian Borkowski is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Originally a trumpet player, Julian expanded his musical focus to piano while pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at Capilano University, where he studied under the mentorship of renowned jazz artist Brad Turner. He further honed his skills with a Master’s degree from the University of Oregon, studying trumpet with Paul Krueger and piano with Keith Brown. Throughout his career, Julian has shared the stage with celebrated musicians, including Carl Allen, Cory Weeds, and the Daniel Hersog Jazz Orchestra (on trumpet), as well as Nick Biello and Charlie Porter (on piano). Julian remains an active performer and dedicated educator in the Vancouver music community.
