Kyle Hawkes is an accomplished musician and educator born and raised in Vancouver, BC. With over a decade of teaching experience, he welcomes students of all ages and skill levels, specializing in both private instruction and leading group ensembles.

A sought-after performer across the Greater Vancouver area, Kyle has appeared with organizations such as Redshift Music’s Vertical Orchestra, Gateway Theatre, the Canadian Music Centre’s Class Axe series, and the Vancouver Classic Guitar Society’s Emerging Artists Series. He actively collaborates with local musicians and has premiered numerous works by Juno Award-winning composers.

Kyle holds a Master of Music in Performance from the University of British Columbia, where he studied under renowned guitarist Daniel Bolshoy. He has also performed in masterclasses for many of the world’s leading classical musicians, further refining his craft.
