In-Person Lessons

Soprano Sydney Trotter possesses a broad love for music and artmaking. Recent performances include soloist roles in Faure’s Requiem with the Vancouver Bach Choir (2025) and VillaLobos’ Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5 at the Sea to Sky Chamber Fest (2023). She holds the position of Soprano Lead with the Vancouver Bach Symphonic Choir and was awarded First Place in the
Vancouver Westcoast Music Society’s 2022 Vocal Competition.

She has a strong passion for arts administration and early-childhood music education, having worked with the Canadian Opera Company and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School of
Music in their youth education departments.

Sydney earned her B.Mus. degree in Voice from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2026, her M.Mus. degree in Voice Performance from the University of Toronto in 2020 and completed her
Bachelor of Education in Elementary & Middle Years at the University of British Columbia in 2024. She continues her studies with Soprano, Robyn Klassen, and Collaborative Pianist, Maria
Jung.
