Zyrene Estallo

Pianist and educator Zyrene L. Estallo has performed as a soloist and collaborative artist across Asia, Europe, the United States, and Canada. She has held performance fellowships and scholarships at the Brevard Music Institute and Festival (USA), the Adam Gyorgy Piano Academy (Hungary), and the Talis Music Festival and Academy (Switzerland), and was a piano scholar at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore.
Zyrene began her formal music training at the Philippine High School for the Arts as a young artist before earning an Honours Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of New Brunswick.
With more than a decade of experience in music and education, Zyrene has taught piano, elementary classroom music, and group keyboard classes while leading music learning programs in international schools. Beyond the studio, she is actively engaged in educational research, scholarly publications, curriculum design, and teacher education, bringing an evidence-informed and learner-centred approach to teaching. She values creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences that inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music learning.
Outside of music and education, Zyrene enjoys training for triathlons (swimming, cycling, and running), playing video games, and listening to K-pop and hip-hop.
