Registration for Spring term is now open!
This is an in-person music class, held at the VSO School
Help your child begin a lifelong friendship with the piano while building a foundation of musicianship skills. Children develop the skills of music note-reading, piano performance, listening (ear-training), pitch matching, piano keyboard technique, singing, movement, rhythm, and music appreciation in this introductory class for piano.
The class is based on the “Alfred Piano Course” curriculum, specifically designed to teach young beginners using a combination of piano, singing, stories, and fun activities to learn piano. It balances the discipline of learning an instrument and the fun of making music with others.
The Spring term of this class is for children who have completed two terms of group piano classes at the VSO School. Other beginners with equivalent experience may be eligible – contact us for more info on whether this class could be a good fit for your child
