Registration for Spring term is now open!
This engaging evening class is designed for adult beginner students who wish to learn the guitar from the ground up. Perfect for students and working professionals alike, it offers a welcoming space to meet like-minded friends, make music together, and cultivate a shared passion for the guitar.
Under the guidance of experienced instructor Stanton Jack, who specializes in working with adult learners, you will develop fundamental playing techniques, be introduced to note reading and explore the basics of ensemble skills, learning to play with and listen to others. Along the way, you will gain a brief understanding of the classical guitar’s history, roots, and repertoire.
Learning Outcome:
The course may serve as a steppingstone to our Thursday evening ensemble class for those wishing to continue their journey in an ensemble setting. After 8–12 weeks, students will showcase their progress in a friendly Guitar Night recital.
