Discover the joy of the piano in a social, low-pressure environment. Our Adult Piano Group Classes are designed for learners who want personalized technical guidance as they begin, or return to, piano studies. Whether you are sitting down at the piano for the first time or returning to the instrument after years away, these classes offer a supportive space to build fundamental skills. As you progress through the levels, you will move from basic mechanics to playing full pieces of music, all while connecting with a vibrant community of fellow music lovers.

Level 1 is designed for adults who are new to the piano or have very little experience. We introduce fundamentals including basic posture, rhythm, learning how to identify notes on the keyboard, and the foundations of reading music. Participants will enjoy a fun and engaging music experience as they explore the piano as a new hobby, learning simple tunes and developing essential skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Level 2 is designed for those who have some prior experience on the piano and are able to identify notes on their instrument. We will focus on advancing skills by refining technique, expanding repertoire, and enhancing musical expression. Participants engage in ensemble keyboard playing and continue their development together.
Level 3 welcomes those with experience playing and who can easily read music. This class focuses on further developing musical skills, working on different techniques, and achieving better technical proficiency, all while exploring deeper layers within the music in a collaborative setting.
Piano Returners welcomes those with extensive experience on the piano, who are returning to the instrument after a long break. If you took piano as a child and reached a high level (RCM 6+ or equivalent), this is the class for you. Ease back into piano studies in a collaborative, supportive, environment.
