In this friendly group setting, we’ll explore how the violin works, how sound is made, and what it actually feels like to begin learning an instrument that has charmed, challenged, and delighted musicians for centuries.
Across the two sessions, you’ll learn the basics of posture, bow hold, and tone production. We’ll finish by learning a simple yet meaningfully profound tune about love.
This taster offers a glimpse into our year-long Level 1 beginner violin class: a supportive, social, and engaging learning environment full of small victories that build skills and foster a deeper connection to music. No musical experience is required and violins will be provided.
