Registration to join Azalea Ensemble for 2025-26 is now open!
This is an in-person music program, held at the VSO School of Music
Master traditional Chinese musical styles and techniques in this warm and welcoming ensemble, which also enjoys unique collaboration opportunities with the classical and jazz music departments of the VSO School of Music, as well as prelude performances for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. The ensemble is suitable for players of all kinds of Chinese instruments with no age or experience limits. The Azalea Ensemble also performs throughout the whole year, offering ongoing opportunities for musical growth and public engagement.
Participants joining the ensemble mid-year will be offered a prorated fee.
