The Suzuki method is well known and respected throughout the world. It came to North America from Japan in the 60’s and has been growing exponentially around the world ever since, enriching the lives of hundreds and thousands of children.
Many, many famous musicians, whether solo artists or symphony players, got their first start with the Suzuki method. Main tenets of the philosophy are: an early start, supportive and fun group classes with peers, and a nurturing musical environment prepared by the parent. Most importantly, Suzuki embraces the empowering philosophy that “Every Child Can” regardless of whether they were born with “talent”.
