Cello Technique is a specialized workshop designed to help intermediate-advanced cellists deconstruct and master the physical mechanics of their instrument. Under the guidance of Chris Chan, students in RCM levels 7–9 will focus on building a robust technical foundation, including thumb position clarity, advanced bowing articulations, and fluid shifting across the fingerboard. This course provides the essential “building blocks” required for technical security in high-level examinations and complex ensemble repertoire.
This course is right for you if: You are a cello student in levels 7-9 RCM or equivalent.
