This is how viola players are born!
Welcoming students with no prior string instrument experience; students who have taken Meet the Violin; as well as violin students in their first or second year or study, this course will introduce you to the rich and beautiful timbre of the viola. Learn how to:
- hold and play the instrument
- comfortably read and write in the alto clef
- play and composer simple melodies
The skills learned in this course will prepare you for more advanced viola and violin study, and set you on course for playing in an ensemble.
