This project-based course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts and tools of sound production. By the end of the course, students will present a group project that showcases their understanding of audio recording, editing, and MIDI sequencing using Ableton Live. The course is suitable for beginners, and no prior experience is required.

Running from July 2 to August 6, this follow-up workshop builds on the skills learned in Music Production and focuses on applying DAW knowledge to film scoring. Participants will collaborate with filmmakers from Cinematheque to create an original short film with a custom score and walk the red carpet at the film’s premiere!
