A full morning of arts activities for preschool aged children. Our team of experienced Early Childhood Arts Educators provide a full morning of arts activities for children age 3-4yrs (born in 2015/16). This program encourages creative development of children through the arts and play based learning. Each Monday we will explore music, visual art, movement, drama and yoga. This is a great opportunity for children to make new friends and develop independence and school readiness.
Please make sure your child brings a water bottle and healthy snack (no nuts please). Also, please note – due to the nature of the programming, participants need to be potty trained.

Music Making Together: An Intergenerational Creative Music Program
The Music Making Together (MMT) program is an intergenerational (IG), community-based program focused on bringing together preschool children (aged 3-4 years) and seniors (aged 60+ years) to engage in music making, which includes creative activities involving a combination of art making, singing, small percussion instruments, movement, and creative technology with iPads. The overall aim is to support inclusive opportunities for skipped generations to engage together in creative expression, lifelong learning, and relationship building to enhance wellbeing. MMT is developed by the BC Hub, led by Dr. Susan O’Neill, which is based in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University. The BC Hub is part of a larger SSHRC-funded partnership development project focused on music and creative later life, which is taking place in British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, and led by Dr. Andrea Creech at Laval University.
