This is an online music class, taught via Zoom
Our Adult Harp Workshop offers beginner to high-intermediate adult harpists a supportive and enjoyable online space to learn in a collaborative setting. Co-taught by two experienced harp instructors, Lani Krantz and Elizabeth Volpé Bligh, each class includes warm-up exercises, technique development, and a selection of music pieces tailored to the group’s interests and skill levels. Many of the pieces are unique arrangements by the instructors, adding a personal touch to each session. From popular tunes to themed classes—like wedding music in spring—students explore diverse harp styles and deepen their musical skills.
The class structure balances guided instruction with individual practice, creating an accessible environment for learners at various levels. Each student brings their own harp, and music materials are shared in advance via Google Drive. During sessions, students stay muted to focus on technique while one instructor leads and the other observes, offering personalized feedback. Recorded sessions are also provided for review, supporting flexible learning at each student’s pace. The final class of each program is a relaxed “performance” where students can share a piece, fostering a rewarding sense of accomplishment and helping manage performance nerves. This class is ideal for adult harpists looking for musical growth and a warm community.
