Enrollment now open for June session!
This is an online music class, taught using Zoom
What makes music “popular” or “classical”? How do video game composers borrow from non-Western cultures to create their themes? What does an orchestra conductor actually do?
This 4-week, 8-part course for high-school age students delves into the origins, structure and connections of the music that is all around us, in film, concerts, online, gaming and more. Join us for an exploration of sounds from all over the world – guaranteed to challenge what you thought you knew about sound and art.
As Dumbledore said: “Ah, Music! A magic beyond all we do here.”
Please note: the June session of this class covers new content, so is suitable for both new and returning participants.
