Join us for an energizing weekend of hands-on music! This immersive program is designed for students eager to strengthen their rhythmic skills, explore diverse percussion styles, and expand their musical toolkit through collaborative learning.
Over the course of the weekend, participants will take part in six dynamic small‑group workshops, each led by experienced local percussion specialists. Topics will include Latin rhythms, African drumming, classical percussion techniques, and more. Students will have the opportunity to broaden their playing experience, try new instruments, and develop confidence in a supportive, high‑energy environment.
The weekend concludes with a celebratory showcase in Pyatt Hall, where students and instructors will have an opportunity to share what they’ve learned!
