Choose between two Suzuki Hits & Harmonies programs: Strings (ages 7-10) and Cello (ages 9-11) and dive into the exciting world of ensemble playing! Parent attendance is not required for either program.
Suzuki Strings: Hits & Harmonies
Designed for young string players in the early stages of their musical journey, Suzuki Strings: Hits & Harmonies brings the excitement of ensemble playing to life! Through group music-making, beginner-friendly playful improvisation, and familiar pop and movie tunes, students will build confidence, creativity, and connection with others.
Focusing on collaboration and expression, this course helps early Suzuki students strengthen their technique while learning how to blend, follow, and lead within a group. We’ll build on familiar Suzuki repertoire while introducing fun new skills like improvising simple rhythms and developing ensemble performance skills.
Perfect for Suzuki Cello and Violin students in LATE Book 1 through EARLY Book 2.
In this course, students will:
- Play ensemble versions of Suzuki favorites and pop/movie songs
- Learn to listen, match, and play as a team
- Experiment with early improvisation and composition in a supportive setting
- Build rhythm, confidence, and stage presence
- Discover the joy of creative music-making with friends!
Suzuki Strings: Hits & Harmonies is the perfect next step for young players ready to expand beyond solo practice and experience the joy of shared musical expression.
