The Vocal Jazz Ensemble is an auditioned group open to vocalists between the ages of 14 and 25 with some prior singing and/or ensemble experience. The ensemble explores a wide range of vocal jazz repertoire, from classic swing and blues to modern jazz-pop fusion and experimental vocal textures. Participants will perform arrangements by a variety of renowned vocal jazz arrangers, including original works and custom arrangements by the Director. Participants who are excited about vocal jazz music, are dedicated, and enjoy being part of a music-making community are encouraged to join.
An audition is required to join this ensemble.
