Registration for Summer Camps is now open!
Dive into a week of fun and engaging ensemble playing! This immersive, non-auditioned band camp is designed for students eager to strengthen their large ensemble skills, build musical confidence, and experience the excitement of collaborative music-making in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Throughout the week, students will focus on large ensemble development through daily rehearsals led by a guest band director. In addition to ensemble work, students will participate in engaging masterclasses and workshop sessions that develop essential musicianship skills, mentored by our VSO School of Music Faculty. Students will be encouraged to collaborate, challenge themselves musically, and grow as confident ensemble performers.
The week culminates in a final performance at the Annex Theatre, where students will take the stage and showcase their progress in a professional concert setting.
Program Highlights:

Required Learning History:
Repertoire will be selected at a level between Grade 2 and 4 for concert bands. Students should be able to comfortably play at the lower end of this, and willing to challenge themselves with more difficult music.
