Registration for Summer Camps is now open!
This camp invites young learners to discover the building blocks of music in a playful, hands-on environment. Students explore rhythm, melody, and harmony through interactive theory games, guided improvisation, and dramatic storytelling. The week’s activities blend sound and motion, encouraging self-expression and collaboration.
Campers work together to create an original piece of music, bringing their ideas to life through keyboard, percussion, voice, and movement. Activities include rhythm games, creative composition challenges, and storytelling exercises that connect music to narrative and emotion.
Perfect for curious minds who love to play, experiment, and express themselves. No prior experience required, just enthusiasm and imagination.
Students will be introduced to the keyboard during this camp. Please let us know at registration or by emailing info@vsoschoolofmusic.ca if you have prior instrumental experience, to allow our instructors to craft activities to suit the average level of participants.
