Chamber Trio Place First at Canada West

Congratulations to the VSOSoM’s wonderfully-named Updog Trio who placed first in the 17 and Under Chamber class at the 2023 Canada West Performing Arts Festival, held in Edmonton, AB!

The trio is made up of Sunny San (violin), Gabrielle Haslett (cello) and Tony Zhou (piano), and is coached by piano instructor Carla Dodek and VSO Principal Cellist Henry Shapard.
