VSOSOM Chamber Ensembles Perform Incredibly at 2023 Provincials

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 2023 BC Performing Arts Provincials competition! This year’s competition showcased many talented groups and we are pleased to share the achievements of our students. Three of our groups earned prizes for the top chamber groups in the province in the Provincials Excellence Class: UPdog Trio (Gabrielle Haslett, Sunny Sun, Tony Zhou) placed 2nd in the Intermediate Chamber Group, Ukiyo Quartet (Da-Yong Chan, Nevé Koa Frid, Eunjin Veronica Lee, Timothy Jin Seo Li) placed 2nd in the Senior Chamber Group, and Astral Quartet (Da-Wei Chan, Hilary Chan, Xenia Huang, Carl Elliot Teng) placed 1st in the Provincial Excellence Chamber Group.
